Capture the quiet anticipation of a day by the water with this life-size bronze statue of a young angler seated on a stool and holding his fishing pole. The relaxed pose, outdoor clothing, hat, rod, reel, and carefully modeled stool create an inviting scene for parks, ponds, gardens, fishing lodges, resorts, and private collections.
This sculpture is handmade and hand-cast in bronze using the traditional lost wax casting process. Individual bronze sections are cast, carefully assembled, chased, finished, and patinated by skilled artisans. This time-intensive process commonly takes 30 to 60 days and gives each casting subtle handcrafted character.
This sculpture is normally finished in a hand-rubbed, multicolor acid patina, which is the version we make every effort to keep available. A traditional all-brown bronze patina may be requested as a custom finish. Please allow approximately 4 to 8 weeks for custom patina work.
Dimensions: approximately 35 inches high by 13 inches long by 16 inches wide.
Optional mounting nuts can be welded underneath the base for secure installation for an additional $49.95. Select the mounting-nut option before checkout when the sculpture will be permanently secured to its site.
