Rearing Stallion Bronze Horse Sculpture is a life-size horse sculpture that depicts the animal rising onto its hind legs, with lifted forelegs and a flowing mane framing its arched neck. Standing eight feet tall, this monumental bronze horse statue has the scale to define an entrance and the sculpted detail to reward a closer look. The muscular chest, expressive face and flowing tail give the composition a remarkable sense of energy, while warm brown and golden bronze tones stand out against the green patina of its textured oval base.
Choose a Right horse, a Left horse, or the Pair (Right + Left). Each single horse is $17,695. The two-horse set includes one Right and one Left rearing stallion, for $35,390 before optional additions. Photographs showing two horses illustrate the pair; a single-horse selection includes one sculpture.
Optional additions: welded mounting nuts are $49.95 per horse, or $99.90 for the pair. Add one Bronze Care and Maintenance Kit for $69.95 with either a single horse or the pair.
Life-Size Bronze Horses for Ranch and Estate Entrances
Few subjects belong as naturally at a ranch entrance as the horse. This rearing stallion brings that connection into the landscape with a silhouette that can be appreciated from the approach to the property. A single life-size bronze horse creates a commanding focal point beside a driveway, in an open courtyard or against the quiet backdrop of a garden. A set of two rearing stallions can frame a gateway, giving each side of the entrance a substantial sculptural presence.
This equine bronze sculpture is equally at home at an equestrian center, riding school, breeding farm or country estate. Its movement complements the activity of a working horse property, while the hand-finished bronze offers a refined contrast to stone gateposts, timber fencing and clipped hedges. For a spacious residential landscape, it can become the piece that gives the entrance its identity.
Monumental Horse Sculpture for Parks and Public Places
At 96 inches high, this outdoor bronze horse sculpture suits settings where smaller artwork could disappear into the surroundings. Consider it for a city park entrance, an equestrian trailhead, a fairground or a civic landscape celebrating a community's connection to horses. Broad lawns and open approaches give visitors room to appreciate the raised posture, while nearby paths allow the modeled muscles, mane and face to be seen in detail.
Allow adequate clearance around each sculpture and plan foundations, anchoring and delivery access with your installer. A raised planter or pedestal can change the visual effect, but it must be designed for the sculpture and the site. The listed height is the bronze itself; surrounding landscaping, pedestals and installation work are not included.
Lost Wax Casting and Hand-Finished Patina
This Max Turner design is cast in bronze using the traditional lost wax process. Individual sections are cast, joined and carefully finished by skilled artisans to preserve the sculpture's shape and surface detail. When a new casting is required, production typically takes 30 to 60 days. With proper care, a bronze of this scale can be enjoyed for generations.
The illustrated finish combines rich brown bronze, golden highlights and a contrasting green base. Hand-applied patina brings definition to the horse's anatomy and creates subtle variations from one casting to another. Contact F&R Bronze to discuss the finish for your project and confirm available options before ordering.
Optional Welded Mounting Nuts and Bronze Care
Welded mounting nuts: $49.95 per sculpture. Nuts can be welded underneath the bronze before shipment to provide threaded attachment points for bolting it to a suitable mounting surface. Selecting mounting nuts with the pair adds them to both horses for $99.90. Your installer should determine the appropriate anchors and foundation for the location. Installation bolts are not promised as part of this option. More information about mounting nuts.
Bronze Care and Maintenance Kit: $69.95. The separate kit selector lets you include one kit with your purchase, with or without mounting nuts. Regular inspection and finish-appropriate cleaning and maintenance help preserve the appearance of outdoor bronze. View the Bronze Care and Maintenance Kit for more information.
