Created through the traditional lost wax casting process, this sculpture is formed in individual bronze sections that are joined, chased, refined, and finished by skilled artisans. The time-intensive work commonly takes 30 to 60 days and gives every casting subtle handcrafted character.
Skilled artisans finish this bronze by hand with a multicolor acid patina that brings out the modeling and character of the piece. We make every effort to keep this finish available. An all-brown bronze patina can be custom applied by request and generally requires 4 to 8 weeks.
