Soldier With Bayonet
This bronze statue by Mariotoy
is handmade and cast in the
traditional Lost Wax Casting
Process. This insures a quality
bronze sculpture that may be
passed down from generation to
generation. A Bayonet was a
style of gun invented in the
17th century by the French. It
included a long hunting knife
blade on the tip so after the
soldier fired his shot, he could
use the gun as a make shift
spear until he could reload it.
